IT'S MY BDAY!
rellie, jen, dan
ang loveteam
It's my birthday today! Another year older...but none the wiser! Hehehe! We had lunch kanina with Dan, Jen, Kuya Rellie (our ever talented backup photog), Angie, Ogie and their friend Patrick. Grabe sarap food sa Grill Asia sa T. Morato. You should try it guys. A bit expensive but sulit talaga. Yun nga lang wala kami pictures na maayos! Hahaha...Nobody bothered to bring a DSLR camera, para kc papunta coverage kung may dala cam kaya cel nalang. D tuloy kami kasya lahat sa frame. Kainis. Cla Angie, Ogie & Patrick wala pics kc humabol lang cla, nakalimutan na mag pa picture. Sa sobrang gutom din namin d na napicturan and food, kinain na agad!
My super bait & loving parents also sent lechon all the way from Dipolog..We picked it up at PAL cargo. YUMYUM! Crispy parin sya kahit 10 hours na syang luto at ilang miles na ang nabyahe na. Sarap din ng regalong crispy pata nila Ogie from Bulacan, sarap ng timpla...

Phenomenal Woman (Maya Angelou)
Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I'm telling lies.
I say,
It's in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees.
I say,
It's the fire in my eyes,
And the flash of my teeth,
The swing in my waist,
And the joy in my feet.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me.
They try so much
But they can't touch
My inner mystery.
When I try to show them
They say they still can't see.
I say,
It's in the arch of my back,
The sun of my smile,
The ride of my breasts,
The grace of my style.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
Now you understand
Just why my head's not bowed.
I don't shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing
It ought to make you proud.
I say,
It's in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
the palm of my hand,
The need of my care,
'Cause I'm a woman
Phenomenally.

D80 Sample Shots
Tips On Prenup Pictorial
I would just like to share what I've learned and experienced while doing prenup shoots. This is to give additional info to couples who are planning to have/avail prenup services, and to answer some FAQ's as well.
1. Avoid overly crowded places
- If you want to have prenuptial shoot in baywalk or other popular areas/parks, schedule it on weekdays where there's bound to be less people than on weekends. It's very difficult to shoot when there are people passing by between the photographer and the couple, plus most of the couples feel uncomfortable when there are strangers staring at them while they're having their pictorial.
- If your set to have a prenup at Enchanted Kingdom, pls. note that it's difficult to have pictures while on the rides if the line is too long. You will spend more time lining up than on the rides. Photographers are allowed only in certain areas so finding a good angle is a challenge specially when the subject is moving.
2. Secure a permit
- Call the management of the area where you want to have your prenup and inquire if they have any special requirements like permits and fees.
3. Keep an eye on the weather
- If there's a forecast of a typhoon coming within your scheduled outdoor prenup , discuss with your photographer other options for pictorial like indoor or hotel pictorials. If time is not a problem, reschedule your shoot as early as possible.
4. Dress code
- This depends on where you want to have your prenups. It's best to wear something out of the ordinary but comfortable. Huwag naman naka pambahay! You can also schedule your trial hair & make-up with your prenup to make you look more beauiful.
5. Communicate
- Get to know your photographer. It's easier to be in front of the camera when you're at ease with the one behind. Tell your photographer what you want and ask for suggestions/opinions. Come prenup day, discuss feasibility of the shots you want in relation to your location and current condition (overcast/cloudy/foggy, harsh sunlight, low light/night time). Good lighting condition is essential for good photographs.
6. Be yourself and enjoy the experience.
- If you want wacky shots, you have to be wacky. If you want passionate shots, you have to be passionate and sweet. The photographer cannot do it for you. We can direct the poses but the emotions must come from within yourself.
Have a fun prenuptial pictorial everyone!

Christmas Gift!
Presenting my new Nikon D80! Wohooo!
Finally I have a new camera to use, it's not high end but it gets the job done. The D70 that I'm using is practically screaming at me to give it some rest. It was Paul's camera when we were starting out and has been handed down to me when he got his D200. I love the D70. I can get some really dramatic shots with it and it has the best color too. Unfortunately, most of the time it gives very poor quality pictures no matter how you adjust it. Sinusumpong na talaga sya. It needs to be repaired na.
I have not extensively tested my D80 pa since I have so much work to do. A few shots palang nagagawa ko. Sa 15 ko pa sya magagamit, un na rin ung test nya. So far naman, ang ganda ng quality ng pictures and the color is good din. It comes with a kit lens na 18-135mm which is good for me since tamad ako magpalit ng lens! Hehehe! I want sana 18-200mm kaya lang expensive din e, so ok na muna ung kit lens. I also love the D80's size. Halos kasing laki lang sya ng D70 (may vertical grip nga lang yung sakin) but much lighter kc it's plastic. This is an advantage for me kc bilis ko mangawit. Malaki rin LCD like D200 and 10MP sya.
Thanks syempre to my honey sa syang bumili! hehehe! Special thanks din to Jon (threelogy) for suggesting this model and to CJ (threelogy) sa paglait sa D70 ko! Ayan mukha na ba akong professional! Heheheh!

His' and Her's Mobile Phone
I'm the only one whose supposed to buy a new cel since Paul got his N70 just 4 months ago (free from smart post paid plan). We had been scouting for 2 days on what unit to buy and almost bought the SE z610i. As fate would have it, the unit available was defective and they only have 1 left in the color that I wanted (pink) so hindi namin binili. And hindi rin masyado nagustuhan ni Paul dahil parang flimsy ung material na ginamit. A few days after that, he lost his phone din so we have no choice but to buy one for him. We went back to SM North and I finally decided to buy mine. He wanted to have an N70 din kc gamay na nya, we were looking for the black series kaya lang out of stock so di rin muna sya bumili. Tapos, nagustuhan nya yung unit na binili ko, so in the end ganun narin binili nya! The Motorola V3x. Super happy with the purchase, very fast response, easy to navigate, good audio and it has 2mp camera na rin. And, 3G din sya. I considered din the V3i since it's thinner and more compact but it has lower mp kc and wala syang pink na kulay! hehehe!
